each cd hs a unique code, put on there by the industury, but there is shareware out there which allows you to build up a collection. even your media player, will sample the music, and identify it, so log on, and switch on the microsoft media player, then pop in the cd, and look for mor info. you will gat loads of info.

If you have iTunes, put the CD in you drive and it should find the tracks for you.
