No seriously I don't think voodoo works but if it does I would assume you must have some kind of personal belonging of that person and it doesn't have to look like that person. Also I think one would have to have a vivid visual image of that person.
That is only my assumption, no education in voodoo

Sorry hun, voodoo doesn't work that way but good try.
The doll doesn't need to look like anyone but you do need to have something personal that belongs to your "victim" for example a piece of hair for the voodoo to work.
