My eyes are big but they're also almond-shaped and deep set. I think the celebrities my eyes are closest to are Lena Horne or Dorothy Dandridge. I want 40's/50's type makeup like them. The look of the 40's was doe eyes or natural eyes. At first I wanted doe eyes like Marilyn Monroe but I think those only work on prominent eyes so I'm think the women with deep eyes just wore little/natural eye makeup.

So what I'm asking is how to get the 40's Lena/Dorothy makeup look-natural eye makeup that accentuates the features like how to get softly curled dark lashes, how to apply the eyeliner and what color of neutral eyeshadow works best. I have such a hard time with eyeliner and mascara.

I have some friends that have those kind of eyes.
They're indentical bilingual peruvian twins.
The 1st one named:Vanessa Simons De Williams
like natural eye colors cause they make her natural
eye color pop! That's the key thing to do!
Here's what she does: She put on the lightest natural
shadow she knows will blend w/ her natural lid, then
she uses dark brown liquid eye liner, then she curls
her lashes, then she puts 1 coat of black mascara on
and there she has her natural eye look. It look very
trendy and sophisticated on her,I must say!
Try 2 do that too! It'll help u out! I promise!

usea lighter colored concealer stick for under your eyes. the lighter shade will help make the darkness/shadow from your face shape to look less noticeable. :)
