my dad told me on Christmas day, it was horrible. It was even more depressing because i was only 5. and also my mom got me the "Night Before Christmas" book, and while my mom was reading it to me.... my dad came up to me and said "darlin' Santa isn't real. I cried for a week!

Well, to be truthful, I still believed in Santa until I was about 16 years old. My parents had already told me when I was 7 that Santa does not exist but, I secretly held on to the hopes that he did exist until I was just about old enough to drive a car!

I was told the truth when I was 12 and was real upset.
But I still kept believing to keep my Christmas spirit alive. I still believe in Santa Claus to maintain holiday cheer around Christmas.

As long as there is a Christmas holiday and their is some kind of beleif within the person, there will always be a santa. Everyone who celebrates this festive season shows they beleive in ole saint nick. You don't have to be a kid to beleive,,even my granny still has us going...santa I beleive. Anybody that does not beleive in santa .......has no christmas spirit within themselves....mr. or mrs. Scrooge.

Why do people even post that Santa is fake. You do know kids are on here? and your going to spoil their Christmas by telling them Santa isn't real?
Unbelievable

I had six other brothers and sisters and am a middle sibling. My older brother and sister politely told all of us when I was seven (7) that our parents were Santa; that there really was no such thing as Santa Claus.
But...I still pretended that there was. :)
