a) scan it and send it as a picture.
b) scan it and use an OCR program to turn it into text, and send it as a text (word or notepad) document
c) type it out.

a) is quick, but may not be easily readable unless you use a good resolution (which means a big document size, when you send it)

b) produces a good result, but is fairly fiddly, and you will probably spend a lot of time editing the document.

c) may be quicker that b) in the long run, but doesn't take into account if there are any pictures in the document

Scan it and send as an attatchment!

That assumes you have a scanner, if not - then you simply need to copy the text manualy (scanners are cheap these days, i recomend "Dabs.com" to get one if you need one).

P.S. OCR programs exist to change stuff written down into text (works much better with very neat hand writing, printed handwriting or typed words dont even attempt with messy writing!).

The long way, open email and copy everything on the paper onto the email.
The short way, put document on your scanner, copy document onto computer, store it in 'my documents', open email add attachments, choose what you want to send as an attachment.

To send not as an attachment, copy the document, and paste in the body of email.
