I want to get a gift for my good friend nick, but i just have no clue what to get a 13-year old boy...any random ideas for a guy???

Call his house and ask what he likes. Ask for it not to be revealed that you are calling about getting a gift. That way you can get him something you know he will like.

I would stick with a either a CD, game, or some cool clothes of some kind. There are so many options out there for cool t-shirts that it should be kinda easy to find something that he is interested in. Another idea is maybe a pullover from Old Navy or Gap or some other mall store. But, depending on how close you are as friends, a gift card might be more appropriate.
However, it's been awhile since I had to buy something for someone that age, so maybe all the stuff I suggested is not what's cool to give now......I don't know. :o)

a music CD if you know what he likes
a computer game
a movie
if you want something a little not so traditional, buy a box of movie type candy - Raisenettes, Jordan Almonds, whatever and two tickets to see something at the local theater. This would be good if you are planning on going to the movies with him. There's alot of great movies out there during Christmas break.
If you do that be sure to wrap the box of candy up with the movie tickets either taped to the outside of the box or slipped inside the box.

It depends of what he's really into, what kind of music he listen to (for example if he's a punker, I guess a skateboard would be OK). If he likes computers and stuff ike that buy him a gadget of some sort, or if he's more into studying, something interactive on a CD, something he can learn new things from. However, I think that the best gifts don't have to be expensive but heart meant.

Depends if you ahve a lot of money X-Box 360 is good, aslo PS3 is just coming out and so it Nintendo Wi
Also for less expensive things, shoes and clothes are really good things to buy.
Last but not least you can get him a gift card for a video game store if you're that stuck.

something from the heart that shows you really put effort into and care. im sure he will love whatever you give him. but if you dont want to go down the mushy route get him something sports related (like his favorite team), legos, video game, t-shirt, or some colonge...hope that helps
