I just switched my baby from good start to enfamil because she loves the taste of enfamil much more. But the reason I took her off enfamil in the first place is because she was to young to digest it projectile vomited and vomited often. When I changed her to good start that all stopped. She does not like the taste of goodstart as much and eats less of it so I put her back on enfamil because I figured she is older and would have an easier time digesting it. So far its been okay but one day she had so much gas and cried all day long from it but no vomiting so its really hard to say. My baby did not like similac at all either.

My LO tried Similac, she did AWFUL on it. She was on Enfamil...it was Enfacare, basically Enfamil Lipil it just has 2 more calories per oz. She was really really good on it, it didn't help her gain weight like it was supposed to, but she never had any problems with it.

First off, you need to take her to the doctor and see what kind of forumla is best for your child. If you read the label it states to use under a doctors dicrections. Take her to the doctor and ask them. All babies and different and they will be able to tell you which one is better for her. My babies both were on Similac and Enfamil. They are really the both same kind of formula, only difference is that one is a thicker power and the other one is a looser powder.

My daughter was spitting up constantly using Enfamil, so the Dr. switched her to Similac. My son, on the other hand, did really well on Enfamil Lipil (it's supposed to be more like breast milk)

That depends on your babies specific needs. Ask your babies doc, he/she should be able to tell you what is best for your child. I have used Similac with iron as a supplement with both my girls. The hospital I use has used Similac with Iron for over 12 years! Good Luck. My daughter (9 months) also had an issue with gas. For about 4 months, but then it eventually stopped.

It depends on your baby. You can't look at one formula and say "that one's best" because each kid is different. If you can breastfeed, then it's great, if you can't pick one and try it. Enfamil has a lot of differnt options to fit all kinds of kids, spit up, colic, fussy and gas, low iron, there are tons and some come in powder and or condensed. My kids do great on condensed but thats whats worked for, just like they did better on smilac but it's whatever works for them and you won't know what works until you try it but keep in mind that it can take 1 to 2 weeks for them to get used to it.

When my son was a small infant he had "colic" so bad it was horrible! His little stomach always hurt and he had excessive gas. He would scream daily in excruciating pain. I had started off breastfeeding and figured out that it wasnt' working out so I had to go to a fomula. My son's pediatrician recommended Infamil. Just plain Infamil. It worked very well! Although it didn't get rid of the colic completely it certainly did help ALOT and seemed to soothe his stomach more, and make him more content. So, I HIGHLY recommend Enfamil.

Enfamil with Lipil is great. That's what my daughter has used from the day I transitioned her to formula and she has had no problems with gas or anything!

Hello,

When my twins were born early, they were drinking Neosure Similac. They drank that because it was a 22 cal diet for them to gain weight.

Once they turned 9 months old, we gave them Enfamil Next Step Lipil. We still use this to this day at a year old and their gassy problems have lessened.

Hope this helps you....................................... :-)
