If you are only having blackheads, you need to do three things:
1. Keep skin properly cleansed without overdrying and stimulating more sebacious activity.
2. Exfoliate. This will help clear up blackheads over time, and prevent new ones from forming.
3. Moisturize with an oil free, light weight moisturizer that regulates sebum.
Although I am generaly against over the counter products full of propylene glycol, parabens, and other bad stuff, if you are a teenager, products costing $30 or more may be out of your reach. The next best thing is products like Neutrogina, and clean and clear.
Be sure to cleanse twice a day and exfoliate no more than three times a week. Always moisturize day and night, even over areas that tend to become oily.
If you follow these steps you CAN manage blackheads, but you MUST be dedicated to a skin care routine.

For skin you really have to look both inside and out. Clean up your diet, remove harmful things like caffiene, cigarettes and take good quality supplements and don't forget the water!. Secondly look at skincare routine and products, go for gentle over too harsh, if you continue to use such harsh products more than is recommended eventually you will strip the skin of its own protection and open it up to infection. Also with blackheads (which I had loads of 2) make sure you are cleansing thoroughly every day when you come home its shocking how much dirt accumulates on your face through the day. Weekly facials done at home, try making your own facemasks there are loads on the internet. manuka honey spread on the face for 20 minutes twice a week is fab. I also use apricot facial scrub twice a week, cleanes tone and moisturise twice a day. good luck

The thing is, if you have blackheads(commedones) it's down to having open pores, you can help this problem, firstly you need to buy a deep cleansing pore wash and facial exfoliator(St. Ives is a nice one), this will help to remove all your dead skin cells making the squeezing process easier, pat dry your skin and wrap tissue around your two index fingers and gently squeeze, using tissue prevents bacteria from your hands infecting the area and also stops damage on the skin from your nails, once you have done this use your clearasil to tighten your pores and remove any excess grease. if you use a moisturiser, use a lotion rather than a cream as it's less likely to re-block your pores again or try to find one that says non-comodogenic(means won't block your pores). you could also try a clay based face fask 3 x a week on the affected area.

you can either go to a dermathologist they will tell you what to do or give meds for your blackheads and face over all.
or you can go to a salon/spa and get a facial cleanser not a beauty facial.. like they will take out as many as they can in like an hour and then they will charge you a fee and see if you have to come back again.. but i've done it before and if helped the only problem is that sometimes i sleep with makeup on it comes all back again... so next time i have a facial which is like in a month i will not sleep with makeup anymore..
hope it helps...

Facial products WON'T help! Believe me! I had the exact same problem and nothing (literally) would help them. I finally guessed that I might be deficient in something and started taking Omega 3 Fatty Acids from Trader Joes with a few other kinds of fats (most people are deficient in them, certain kinds really ARE good for you) and it cleared up after a week! I had perfect skin! It really worked. Try it.

I know what you're going thru, chill it's not as bad as it seems. Go to wal-mart and get you some Biore ultra cleansing nose strips...make sure you get the ultra and make sure they're the nose strips. They also make face strips for other parts of your face. Hope this helps!! Just make sure you read and follow the instructions; I would recommend wetting the strip slightly and your nose before you apply it. And watch your time when you use it make sure you leave it on there long enough for it to dry.

Try using the T-Zone nose strips, they get right down and pull them out.Try using an astringent cleanser, once you have the blackheads under control.

go to your doctor. my brother had that problem as well and was prescribed tablets and a cream and they have cleared up really well. He had to try out a few different creams etc to find the one that worked for him. dont be embarassed about it though....lots of people have them and they will go away with the right treatment
