all the answers above mine are childish and stupid. first off, you cannot call "dibs" on someone. they're a human being. you just keep being you. let the boy know you like him. don't be trash talking your friend, and if she's doin it to you, then she's lost sight of what a friend is. but it's not a competition remember that. if he choses one of you over the other, then oh well, you just have to accept that whoever ends up without. for all you know, both of ya'll make like him, but he may not like either of you. all you can do is let him know that you're feelin him and the rest is up to him.

Ughhh!! I have that same problem! Just tell her that you liked him first, and she needs to back off!!! She just started liking him when you told her right? Tell her that you like him, and she should find another boy to go after. You got dibs on that one!!

omg! that just happened 2 me! ok this is wat happened 4 me...
he was my ex-bf btw...
i started liking him...then he told me and a few of my friends that he liked my friend...then she decided she liked him 2 so he asked her out...she said yes...then decided it was 2 weird so broke up w/ him 10 MINUTES latur...now hes all mad and i dont like him a single bit anymore! wow that felt good 2 get it all off of my chest...
just say watever shes not ur real friend if she does that 2 u when she knows you already like him. unless you tell her its perfectly ok...cuzz i kidna did that but...yeaa...w.e.
