Most everything is closed, including restaurants. I was just at a Wal Mart Supercenter and the cashier told me she has to work on Thanksgiving, so they will be open.

Doubtful. I guess every mall could be different, but I think most places are just getting ready for the huge rush on Friday. Most malls will open very early then. Some stores may be open, like CVS or Walmart or a supermarket, but you'd have to check each location.

You know most stores are more concerned with the almighty buck thaan they are with their employees having the time off. So yes most of their stores are open, however the majority of good sales will start before the sun comes up on Friday. Check most of the hours online at each of their websites.
Have fun shopping...but be careful people can be very aggresive!!
