It's got so many names. Nasty Christmas was something I heard on The Office -- apparently one of the castmembers' family called it that...

Yep, play it every year with at least one group. Price ranging from $1- $50.
Loads of fun. Dirty Santa is another name. The $1 was a lot of fun, believe it or not the roll of paper towels was the hot item! Other hot items have been...a shower radio, obnoxious slippers, board game, lottery tickets.

probably not, I've only participated in one white elephant party in my life. It was fun though, but no one else I know has ever thrown one.

we played it once at a party, it was mucho fun! but one of the guys got all mad when I stole a DVD from him. duh that's the game!!
