My wife and I are in our VERY EARLY 40's. We met when I was 16 and she was 15. Highschool sweethearts. We've been married for going on 13 years now. How many folks, born in the 60's and went to high school in the late 70's and early 80's, are still with their high school sweetheart? From what I've been told, people like us are a dying breed....

It's nice to see that my Husband and I aren't alone in this world.People treat us like we are freaks or something because we have been together since we were teenagers. We have been together 16+ years and Married 14+ of those. We also have the problem with people actually being surprised that we were married before we had our son. Apparently no one does that anymore either. And do you know what confuses them the most.I am a stay at home mom and he works and supports us.Oh well I guess we are just dinosaurs.(an extinct animal).

I married my husband who is also in the military at the age of 20. And well I love him very much and I don't regret ever doing it. I finished my career, but i'm not currently working, I just had a baby and I'm going to be a stay at home wife until my son is 4. I didn't think it was hard to go to school specially not it you decide to take online classes. If your ready to be a responsible and supportive wife, I say go for it and get married. I wish you guys the best of luck.

We've been married 1 year, have been together a total of 3 years. Love him! Had to go through a lots of jerks before I finally met a good guy! I think what's so great about what we have is that we're very much the same - we like the same things, have the same interests. We love doing things together and we both respect our need for some private time. We friends as well as partners and it's wonderful!

Met in college, together 11 years, married for 7.
COMMUNICATION keeps the love strong and enduring.
No secrets. No lying. No hiding.
It ain't perfect and we've hurt each other (not in the WORST ways) early in our relationship but I think we are getting stronger all the time.
