my mom wanted to come and stay with me for Thanksgiving.
I was actually bold enough to ask her (as nicely as I could) not to.
I'll probably be paying for that one for some time.

Yeah, I've been doing that myself actually....but please don't send your family to my house, it's not big enough for my own! Maybe you should send them to Canada, because if it doesn't exist as Jimbo claims, it might be some sort of temporary void that's been set up for just that reason.....
I'm looking forward to tomorrow only because it's just going to be me, hubby, and our daughter, and that's it!

Hmm... Being the company, I kind of endure things myself. Vacation: the time I visit family on "holidays." It's kind of boring actually. I'd rather travel to somewhere exotic and get laid.
