well i would say its ideal to have decent length and decent girth wouldnt you? but considering the average woman is only 5 inches deep a nice thick penis makes up for what it lacks in length. but a the end of the day dont torture yourself over your manhood if your girl loves you she wont be bothered - theres always a dildo!
