Between 10 and 12 hours. Go to http://ww2.flysaa.com/saa_home.html and ask one of the consultants there. They will provide you with whatever information you require!

It will take you about 11-12 hours like Alf above me has mentioned. What he forgot to tell, besides the horrific crime situation, we also have lions roaming the streets and keep cheetahs in our yards. Africa is still in the Dark Ages some people tell me, with Cape Town being the darkest of the dark. After all Cape Town has just been voted one of the top 10 cities in the world. Must be because they feel sorry for us in Darkest Africa. LOL.

Just kidding. Crime is an issue to deal with in South Africa but is nowhere close to being the war-zone certain people make it out to be. Do take reasonable care of yourself and you'll be fine. Enjoy it.

It will take between 11-12 hours but I do hope you have researched South Africa before you arrive. The Country is one of if not the most violent in the World with more than 50 murders every day, a woman raped every 8 minutes, babies raped and sodomised,Shopping Malls and Restaurants frequently attacked by armed gunmen. numerous car jackings country wide, serious assaults with weapons, theft etc etc. Cape Town has the highest per capita murder rate In south Africa and even their so called "safe" tourist sites experience armed robberies on Tourists. A german Tour Guide was raped as she left the sea at Mossel Bay a few days ago and these things are so every day in South Africa that the locals believe this occurs everywhere. Be especially careful for information on the Tourist websites which blatantly lie about the amount of crime for fear of losing money. There are a number of crime sites that have been established on South African crime to lift the lid on the reality of that Country. You can Google them but be very, very careful in that Country and warn all your schoolmates and Teacher similarly.
