No! You do know it because it hurts like hell for weeks. It has happened to me twice as I walk bare feet at home and caught my toe on door iambs. It was agony and I limped along for quite a bit. Nothing you can do. It can't be put in plaster. You just have to suffer for a long while and wear open toe sandals or flip flops till shoes are less painful.

I don't know, but both of my big toes are broken and there's nothing that can be done about broken toes. Aparantly, they've been in fragments for quite a while. I could see that happening to baby toes.

You know, it just hurts. Usually when I break mine I don't get treatment. It swells and hurts, and goes away in about a month. Fortunately Ive always been able to use my toe through my injury, and has never slowed me down.

Hmmm, that's the first I've ever heard of it. My friend broke his toe ages ago and I'm sure that it was agony for him, so I think we would all know if we broke our toes all the time! Interesting question.

YES, if it has been broken in the past. It is quite painful, but the pain decreases with each time. Mine is practically a big glob of toe.

Yes that is very true. I have broken that toe numerous times but only knew it once. It is really wierd but there is nothing you can do about it.

if you break a bone, you WILL KNOW it, it hurts like a *****, also, bubble fart, i whacked my toe with a crutch while i was tryin to walk, (2nd day on em, what do you expect?) i sorta stood with my broken leg in the cast (owch) but i managed to get my balance up and get my bad leg up before i could do damage but it had a nasty lookin bruse on it yesterday, it faded alot now, its barely visible, but could my toe have been broken? it only hurt when i squeezed it, and it would heal right if it wasnt really put on a cast and not really used much anyway right?

If you ever stubbed your little toe against a hard object, you wouldn't need to ask that question.
