Is this more of a daytime dress or could it be pulled off as an evening dress. & should it be done with an updo or just hair let down? Since there are white details im a little hesistant about black shoes so what shoes would go best.

Well, I wouldn't consider it for day. This dress screams evening to me.

If you want to wear a black shoe, you could probably do this if you wear a very fine denier stocking, and a black bolero jacket. Maybe one of those new fuzzy ones?

The way I would wear this dress would be with a fine nude stocking, and very delicate heeled sandals. Somewhat like these:

And then an airy shawl draped over my shoulders for warmth. Somewhat like this:

I love fashion, I hope this helps. Don't be afraid to take risks. Honestly red is such a deep color that it could work with anything. Do not be afraid to wear WHITE. Wearing white after labor day is a must. Especially around the holidays. I suggest wearing a purple shrug with it. It'll look classy and stylish. And as for hair, down, with a romantic curl at the bottoms. Makeup- Go crazy...if you down-play the hair- do up the makeup!! Smokey eyes would look hot.

I'd put it with silver dressy strappy sandals.
I'd put your hair up in a cute bun on your head (no ponytails) and throw on a couple silver necklaces just to solidfy the silver look.

It'd be great for like an office party, going out to a club or lounge, fmaily dinners and thanksgiving.

Cute dress and I LOVE Forever21.

Black patent leather heels would go great with that minidress. For the day, leave your hair down and wear white flats, add a wide white belt to accentuate your waist. For the night, wear black patent heels with a messy bun.

I think it's a evening dress ! u should definitely wear black heels ( the straps r black so its OK 2 wear them and everything matches with black except brown in my opinion !) and well if it's 4 the evening i would say u should put up Ur hair !!

i think it could be either day time or night the right accesories like in the day sum nice black "ballet" flats with chunky necklace and hair down w a headband and then at night add sum nice heels and a longer necklace that drops low and u can leave ur hair down at night too w a headband like black one and tease the crown of ur head so that the headband stands out a lil..

Wow, that's a small dress. Because of the type of fabric/texture, I'd say it was an evening dress. Maybe with brown ballet flats?
