Autocom is probably the top of the line solution. Chatterbox has worked well for me as well. Stay away from the really cheap products (Nady) as they pick up so much noise they're useless above about 25 mph.
Accept that you may have to remove some foam around your ears in your helmet to fit the speakers, depending on your helmet design (They fit great in a Nolan N102).

A LOUD VOICE--what the hell do you need an intercom for, I'll bet you wear a full-face helmet and ride behind a windshield, if you want to sit behind all that plastic buy a car. The idea of riding a bike is to get " IN THE WIND "
