I have a really odd skin color- can someone please help me figure out what makeup/colors work for me?

I’m Sicilian and Native American, so in the summer I get a reddish-coppery brown kind of tan, but in the winter when I’m white my skin seems to be this greenish yellow kind of color. Is my skin color warm or cool? I want to know this because I want to know which certain color of things work for me, like what type of red lipstick works best for me, gold vs. silver jewelry, etc. It seems like black and white people work really well with red lipstick but with medium skin like mine it seems harder to find a shade of red that works without looking like a clown.

Sounds like you have olive skin and so do I! Why put makeup on? Use simple cover stick and blend in with a dust of powder. Use natural looking lip stick and light browns for eye shadow. with Christmas coming the are a lot of stores with sample makeup kits, try one to experiment.

The best thing to do is have two shades of foundation, one that matches your summer tone and one for winter. You can blend these foundations together to get a "normal" skin tone and adjust as needed throughout the year. Make sure the two foundations are the same brand, it'll be easier to blend. For your lips, use a berry red, that never makes anyone look like a clown. Wear gold jewellery in the summer and silver in the winter.

it sounds like you have olive toned skin which is a warm color.you want makeup made for people with yellow undertones.i would skip red lipstick,you can wear variations of red but not plain red.try a red with brown undertones like burnt sienna.i would go with gold jewelry,it should really pop with your skin tone.
