Why do women snitch so much in the workplace?

I mean seriously to me it almost seems that for every ten snitches in the workfroce at least eight of them are women. Male co-workers are cool in my opinion. As long as you don't go off in the deep end with your comments they don't care. On the other hand, most women the first "offense" thing that comes out of your mouth, even if its not directed towards them, its a race to the HR director to tell on you.

Because it seems to me that it is every woman for herself a lot of the times.

First of all, get off of your high horse. Men gossip and snitch in the workplace as much as women. My husband has worked several places and they are all the same. NOW, if you're talking about obscene comments, then males are generally crude so most of them don't care. Women are more civilized and don't like vulgar conversations.

i am not the girls kind of woman for that reason! Any female friends of mine are either butch dikes or a career driven woman who are not easily intimidated, but mostly i would prefer to hang out with the guys because they are just human! Woman are un-certain types of creature! Woman dont just snitch on men, they are even worse towards one another, especially if they think they can come up in the workplace. To answer your question, stay away from talking to woman period in the workplace!

I am a girl but i understand how most girls are like that. I must say 90 percent of my friends are male, because it just seems like guys are easier to talk to , less backstabbing, and they dont like to start rumours and tell lies as much as girls do. Not saying all women are like this, I for one am not! And i do have that 10 percent of friends that are females who are not as well. But i think its because girls seem to want to compete with other girls all the time trying to be the one ontop no matter who they end up hurting while tryng to get there. I guess it started when a few bitchy girls seem to end up doing well in life and other followed and believed thats why they got to that "perfect" life is to act that way.Its sad, and really not really a good explaination on why, but lets be thankful that not all girls are like that, and hopefully if you have daughters or sisters that we will raise them to be kind thoughtful, and honest. And to stay out of other peoples bussiness!!

sorry bud, but the men are just as bad for snitching, the kiss asses are everywhere. what used to be considered bad language is now covered under lay-men's terms, if you can provide proof that most of the work force talk in a similar way they can do nothing. Gotta love those rights.

nI agree men are way easier to deal with in the workplace. All of the women in my office are gossipers. I have see people lose their jobs because of their immature gossiping.

Sickening isn't it? I am a woman, but get along better with men. It's dog eat dog when you work with a group of women. I hate it.
