Yes, they work. It really doesn't matter which kind you use, just use them about once a month or so.

if the car has not had cleaner regularly i wouldn't suggest using any that you dump in the gas tank. i've seen people use this stuff and end up clogging up the injectors with grime that has been broken loose in the system. you should take it to a shop that has injector cleaner that hooks into the fuel rail and actually blasts the cleaner through, keeps anything from getting stuck in the injectors.

Sound advice from Sparticus & others.Especially about accum-
lated gunk & poor maintenance.
The cheap brands of injector cleaner is just fine if used on a
regular basis.... I suppose???
For myself,I'd rather use the best brand available to me,regard-
less of cost.

Slowly a 1/2 bottle of Sea Foam (available from autozone) through one of the car's vacuum lines with the engine running (too quickly and it will stall), and the other half into the gas tank (with a full tank). this will likely cause your car to blow out all kinds of s*** but after the smoke stops (50 miles) it will drive like a new car. other than that, a bottle of techron in the tank (dump it before you fill up) is a pretty good cleaner. its got nothin on sea foam tho.
