You shouldn't have taken it to school in the first place. School is for learning, not entertainment.

Was it insured? Sometimes credit card companies will insure items automatically. If your parents bought it, check with them about insuring it. Also, have you reported the theft? You will need a police report in order to make any sort of insurance claim.

Sry...no, but u can sue that person. A girl from school got her iPod stolen from this one guy. and they sued his family because he broke it and wouldn't replace it. so now he's in trouble!!

Unfortunately, buy a new one. I doubt that your school will take enough responsibility for protection of your property to replace it.

there should be a number somewhere on the box, you have to call that number, tell your situation, i think that ifs registered, you can get a new one..
