You are still alive because death was only half way and you recovered. Theoretically if one was scared half to death first, then half to death at the same time, mathematically speaking he would be dead.
1/2 + 1/2 =1, and in that instance ONE is the number, and mate, your number is 1, it is up, and you have snuffed it.

First fright = half dead
Second fright = half of what life is left = 1/4 of the original amount of life.
So your left 3/4 dead.

because it like the old riddle if you travel half the distance from
a to b every day when will you get there, answer never!
and if your scared half to death once you on 50% then again 25% then again 12.5% then again 6.25% then again 3.125% and again 1.5625% you'll never die because you only ver being scared one half of your life!
