i think it's very nice name! very nice indeed.
but you must consider how often these 2 names will be said in sequence.
if you listen.... the 'iel' in Daniel blends with the 'al' in Alexander, almost making the names sound as one. for example i wanted to name a daughter Danielle, and last name woulda been Elliott....so say it and listen....Danielle.elliott
i chose not to because of the last name not the middle..
so i think your name is great...just consider the last name as well, hoping the last letter sounds of the first name are not the same as the first sounds of the last name.

It's a wonderful name. When he gets older, and his personality surfaces, he can decide whether he wants to be called Daniel, Alexander, Dan, Danny, Alex, Lex, or Zander. :)

Ahh I love it :) I was going to call my son that, but changed his middle name at the last minute. He's now Daniel Edward. :)

Sounds like a a great name, just make sure you like it, and your Mrs. does too, other then that as long as your not going to name him someting like "Pilot Inspector" yes one of the well known celebrities did that, just forget wich one-then you should be good.

finally A NICE DOWN TO EARTH NAME FOR A YOUNG MAN. IN THE 70'S WE NAME KIDS A LITTLE STRANG. i HAD A SON WHO I named TYLER KENT. Then 3 years later had a daughter I named DEIDRE LYN {DEE DEE}, then finally came my last 27 years ago and she is JANIS RAE.
