How can i find out if someone really graduated from a degree or not?

You can call the registrar of the university and ask them to verify that the person graduated. It might help to tell them that you are checking references for employment.

Contact the registrar of the school that person claims to have the degree from--usually that office can verify whether someone graduated from their institution, as well as his or her degree.
