You can start leaking a little colostrum early on.. probably 5th or 6th month, but you don't produce actual breast milk until usually 3 days or so after giving birth.

I started leaking colostrum around 4 months and didn't actually produce milk until after I had my daughter.

Breastmilk does not come in until after baby is born. Colostrum, which is yellowish you can start leaking at any time, but usually toward the end of the pregnancy. Colostrum is what has all the antibiodies in it to protect baby for life. It is considred the 1st milk.

You start producing milk the moment the baby latches on your breast. It starts to circulate once it feels the sucking motion.

Brest milk doesnt come in until about 2 days after the birth. The time b4 that you get a clear liquid which builds the babies immune system for the 1st few days.

between three and five days afer birth...you may leak colostrum early in pregnancy this is not breast milk though
