when i put in my new game it makes this clicking sound. it does that with all ps2 games that have a blue information side

Use a q-tip (swab) and clean the laser lens.

Buy a new one, i mean there so cheap now that the PS3 is out. I had a problem like that with my first PS2 that i bought in late 2001 and it started have problems in early 2004, it never read my disks,so they never would play. I threw it away, and bought a new one in July of 2004. And i still use it. Never had a problem with it yet. I still play it alot, more than i did with my first PS2. But now I'm gonna get a PS3 sometime in 2007. But if you really don't want to spend just about a 100$ for a new PS2, then i don't know what to tell you.
