I am trying to find someone and want to check the electoral register for a particular area, does anyone know if electoral register are available online and if so which WWW. di I need as I can't come up with anything when I do a search

www.192.com lets you put in just a name and it'll give you all the people of that name on the Electoral Register in the UK.

You can narrow your search if you know the location of the person.

But you need to subscibe to do this. I think it costs £20 a year.

http://www.b4usearch.com/ is free but you need to know the name AND the location.

If you live near the person you are trying to trace, a copy of the electoral roll should be in your local library or, if not, they can tell you how to find it. You can then look it up for free!

If you know roughly where they are,try the website for the local council.Your not a hitman are ya?

I've just asked the same question! and with respect to mcfifi that www.b4usearch.com is free, no way is it, so don't bother checking that one out.
