I think that if you both have deep romantic feelings you should. Being friends first and last makes for a stronger relationship. I married my best friend. :)

Well, me and my boyfriend were best mates for ages before we started seeing each other. We've been together 3 1/2 years now! I would say its the best basis for a good relationship to be honest! However, it depends on your feelings for each other. It could ruin the friendship if you're not serious about each other, because there's probably no going back! If you love her, then go for it! Theres nothing better than having a boyf/girlf as your best friend! :-)

Sometimes when best friends take the relationship further they potentially can end up, if they breakup never speaking to each again thus throwing away a friendship that might have been longer. Speak to your friend, both of you have to make the joint decision that even if the relationship turns sour you will at least continue the friendship; and if this isn't possible you and her will have to decide if this risk is worth taking.

It depends on how you feel about each other... The plus side to this is that you already know each other very well. The minus is that if anything happens between you and you break up, it might make your friendship awkward. Or maybe your friendship just won't exist at all. It's happened to me, and it's not fun. Until you're sure that she likes you, I would just let it be friends. At least you get to be with her all the time.

If you both want to go out together then its fine, but you should make a pact that if you break up w/ her that you remain friends with eachother. That way you will not worry about putting your friendship on the line. Hope that helps! :)

Relationships that start out as friends are always better than those that don't. I'd go for it. If she is willing, too.... it's likely to be the best thing that ever happened to you.
