pick it up turn it over and look! if there is a gap between the part on the belly and the end part you have a male,( the nut sack will be further away from the tip of penis then the vagina is from the bum hole). if the two areas are close together then you have a female. i used to raise rats for a living at one time in my life. i had to determine sex on newborns and this is how i did it. hope this helps.

my male hamster had very distinct "body parts" hanging from his tushie, ok roundabout his tushie.....between his legs. there was no denying he was a HE.
