On resident evil directors cut how do you find the armor thing to unlock most of the doors?

well you find the key i believe in the room with a fountain that has some creepy weeds around it... You have to find the chemicals (which is in the FRIST sve room of the game, right outside the 90 degree angle staircasethat leads to the second floor.) and take it to the room with the weeds and put it in the little machine that makes that god awful noice.... then you can get the key from the back of the room.
