It's possible that you are pregnant and just don't have a high enough level of the pregnancy hormone for the test to pick it up.
Understand, though, there are other possible reasons for a delayed period. It's possible that you are not pregnant and are having other medical issues. It's also possible that it's stress related or, you might just be running a little late... that does happen sometimes.
Give it a week and take another test. If you still get a negative result and still have no sign of a period, give your doctor a call and schedule an exam.
Good luck.

You should wait a couple more days before taking a test, if you were only supposed to start today, you still could But if you worry about it the stress will cause it to be even later and it might give you false hope. Alot of pregnancy test are for after your missed period, you may not have enough of the hormone that makes it positve yet, wait a couple more days and if you still havent started go take another one. I recommend Firts Response.

It is possible that you are pregnant, but it's too early to show in the urine test.
It is just as likely that your period is just delayed a bit and that you are not pregnant.
The chances for both possibilities are about 50 : 50.
I cannot give you another advice but to wait a bit and, if you still haven't got your period, take another test.
Perhaps the period is delayed because you are too eager to have a baby.

Sometimes the urine tests say negative when you are positive. Just wait a few days a retest. As for being late, don't stress about it. Stress can delay a period too.
