No 'Starr', it's not a stupid question - I'm with my soulmate, but one of my friends has admitted to 'settling' for a nice guy, but who isn't the love of her life, in her words - many people do this, and I think it is crazy.

You only provided two choices, honey. Of course people fall in other categories. The second choice you wrote is not an ok relationship to be in, in my opinion. If you want to have a great life you must be with someone great. As you say, someone Ok is only going to give you OK life. But thats their prerogative, you can't change them. Likewise, no one should change your mind either.

The love of my life, who is also my best friend. I used to be with someone who just kept me company...life's way too short for that.
