No it wasn't a wind up, they didn't know i was there. It went like:

Teen A- "i'got 3 weeks community service but got away with doing only one"

Teen B- "yeah well i still got 30 hours left"

Teen A- "Yeah but i had more to start with"

Teen C- "i get mine next week and i reckon i'll get at least 6 weeks, thats more than both of you".

Etc etc.

Pathetic, isn't it? Bet they were smoking and swigging Stella at the same time, weren't they.

Dunno about perms, Angel - the coolest girls when I was at school were the ones with the most smelly rubbers.

It's not because they're teenagers, it's because they're aspirationless, resourceless and brainless human beings. Such people exist amongst all age groups, not just teenagers.

Sad, isn't it? It's all bravado, but misdirected with no sense of values.
