Well, it's not turkey, they just name it turkey so the vegans can have "turkey" for thanksgiving. It's made from tofu. And tofu is made from soy milk similarly to the technique of making cheese from milk.

To make the vegan turkey, here is a recipe:

It is imitation turkey made from soy beans, which they also use to make ink, machine oil, and of course vegatable oil. Soy crops are the biggest crops in the U.S.A., some people claim that their "evils" have been downplayed because of the strength and power of the soy industry. Personally I believe that, I'm allergic to the nasty beans, and they are in 65% of processed foods.... read some labels!

I get confused about that too. I'll eagerly track the answers. I think it's a turkey that is made of other things - vegetable matter.

pretty scary is what it is. Though I've never seen one. I always imagined this huge @ss hunk of tofu molded to look like a turkey. All kind of pale and pinkish. And if you bump the table it jiggles like jello.

I have no idea, I've never heard of that! I've eaten Veggieburgers before because I think they're great, but how the hell do you make a turkey out of vegetables?
