i know exactly what you mean...you dont mean that the others behaviour will be affected but rather that your interpretation of this as the watcher would be affected...so you taint your own observation results with your own personality...(hope im righ,lol)...

well i think that depends how you observe and what you observe...i think some people can truly see despite their own views and personality...and others are more easily affected by them...how detatched you can be...;0)

Depends on who's being affected and how much the watcher is aware of being watched.

If someone is undressing and their neighbour is watching they are likely to be affected one way or another. If the watched starts doing a strip tease after seeing the watcher then definitely the observer will be affected by the personality of the observed and the observed will also have been affected by the personality of the watcher.

Teacher student relationships are also another good example of this. If the student is watching and gives a sign that they are extra clever or stupid then a good teacher will respond by changing his behaviour. Again the personalities of the watcher(s) affected by the teacher 'observing others.'

so yes, if that is what you mean then the answer is yes.

You are speaking of the same person. watching them self, unless you put the sentence in a wrong order. Can others be affected by personalities of the watcher. both become the audience to each other.

If you are talking about the ones being observed, then yes, it is proven.

In a famous study, the Hawthorne effect was noted. This happens when a supervisor watches his employee's work. Guess what happens? Productivity goes up over 10%.

Yes, it is possible. Non-verbal communication makes up around 70% of what we say, or what our mood is. When other people see that, it affects them. The only way to not affect the observed is for you to not be seen.

No,no affect, once you learn that you are not out to impress other humans.Humans?
No,once you give birth to the fact that you are the equality of the others watching you, therefore you are watching yourself.
Yes,when you are a weak person that is only out to impress other creations.....

I don't think so unless you talk or interact. I know form experience when I was little I just watched everyone and never talked and wondered why people did this or that. Some people don't even remember me being in their class. I didn't have any affect on them until I started talking and interacting with people.

The perception will be affected by the observers personality.

They would not actually be affected unless interaction occured.

If by personalities you mean behaviour then yes.Have you ever been watched /assessed doing something by some one more senior, it puts you off and you feel intimidated even if you know what your doing because your always waiting for them to say something negative no matter how reassuring they are
