brown gravy! if you make it every year you should be able to do what you want to do. if she wants white gravy, she can make it!!

If you are the one making it and she doesn't have a medical reason that she can't eat the brown gravy, then tough.
If she wants the white gravy, ask her to bring it or make it on Turkey day. Compromise is the best, but adding more work for you for such a small request is not fair. I'm sure you have enough to do to get ready for having people over.

I'd make her a little dish of white gravy, and a big dish of brown gravy for everyone else. (If that's the way things tend to work in the family.) She'll get the hint hopefully that you went out of your way to accomodate only her.

Brown gravy is better for meat and most types of bread, but white gravy is better for biscuits. I'd make both.

why can't you make both? gravies are very simple and inexpensive to make. or you can make the brown gravy that you like and she can contribute to the dinner by making the white gravy that she likes.
