You would have to get permission from the Sudanese government (for Darfur) and/or the Chadian government (for East Chad) to do this. In the case of Sudan, the government is making it difficult even for international relief agencies to do their job, and the problems in Chad are almost as bad. As a private individual you would find it probably next to impossible to get into the affected areas, and even if you did you would quite likely end up a victim rather than a rescuer.
Unfortunately, your best bet might be to just donate to relief agencies, and possibly to write your Senators and Representative, and encourage others to. And while you're at it, remind them of the slaughter going on in the Congo, as well, where, since the invasion by Rwanda and Uganda in 1998, over three million people have been killed.

That's NOT a good idea!
Unless you have the Canadian/U.S military with you. You'd probably get killed.
I'm serious.
It was a nice thought though : )
