is it true if you have bigger wheels compared to normal ones you get on your car does the meassurement of miles become different. I mean is there any kind of difference in how many miles you have passed if you have different rim size?

Yes it's true. Your car is built a specific way by the manufacturer, and changing things ...changes things. When you change the wheel size, you increase the rolling resistance, there's more "distance" for a larger tire to go around, so it affects not only your speedometer, but also your odometer. Get to an automotive shop, have them put on the wheels, and see if they can't calibrate it for you.

As long as the out diameter has not changed (the tire is the same high as factory) the mileage is the same. If your high changes then your MPH changes a bigger tire takes longer to travel around then a smaller diameter tire. your speedo is set and calibrated for the factory tire size. now you can always have it re calibrated but it does make a difference. If you change the rim size and the tire you put on is the same height as the factory tire then you have nothing to worry about.

If the diam. of tire changes, than the speedo will be off. If you put taller tires on something it will show less mph than it's actually going, if you put shorties on it will read faster than you are goung. But if you put some bling style tall silly rims on and use low profile tires it may end up not changing the speed reading.

Yes...we deal with that issue everydy here in the shop. We have a guage we give the people. Also gas milage improves about 1%. Also the miles driven are not actual

yap, get the circumference of your bigger wheel and normal wheel. if that differ, you can now conclude your claim.

If you walked around the block with your regular shoes on and then walked around the block with shoes on that were 5 sizes too big for you, would the distance you would have walked been less with the bigger shoes?
The answer is no.
