It depends on how the movie is made for it to scare me. It scares me to see dead people/ghosts walking the way they walked in the movie "The Ring". Or some sound effects make the movie scary. I like watching scary movies because I'm interested in watching on how the movie makers make it look so real. Some scary movies are not so good. So I don't like "all" scary movies. Only the ones that have a good story to it, maybe a little humor in it and see the mystery solved at the end. I haven't seen a scary movie that'll make me want to watch it again. I mean, there's always something or a character in the movie that messes it up for me. So I can't buy scary movies because of that.

I don't scare too easily and the definition of what is considered scary varies from person to person. That being said, some of the most disturbing films range from the cult ones; Cannibal Holocaust, Evil Dead Trap as examples.
Some of the modern films don't cut it for me, there's nothing new that hasn't been repeated in the genre. The only exception may be Saw, that was very different from anything recent I have seen. I love the horror genre.

I love scary movies. There hasn't been a new one that really scares me though. Someone needs to put out a good scary suspenseful flick, not full of blood and gore just good and scary.

I loooove Horror! Some of them can be pretty funny though, especially the older ones.
There's the Ed Wood kind, the funniest of them all! Nightmare on Elm Street started off really unnerving but became cheesier sequel after sequel.
There are a few good ones made recently, like Gothica and The Ring.
But I love 'em all!
