What would you do if you're best friend for 9 years didn't trust you for the past 7-8 years?? And you just found out recently, but you didn't want to lose the friendship?? Would that even be considered friends? Should you just end it even though now you are legally part of her family??

That's strange. How could she be friends with you if she didn't trust you? I would keep as open with her as possible and stress to her that you want to gain back her trust. Communicate with her. Be patient. Be understanding and always be honest.

I would have to know more to fully answer, but if your friend doesn't trust you, the friendship is over. Did you do something to lose her trust? Can the two of you work on winning it back? If you're a part of the same family, it's probably best to work on the friendship. If nothing else, always be kind. Best of luck, hope this helps.
