Is Frank the middle name or last name. You can use Dana for a boy as long as there is a stong fall back middle name.

I like the Frank but lose the Dana. You would be setting your son up for major trouble at school by naming him with a name normally given to girls.

No offense, but Dana sounds a little bit like a girl name to me.
Maybe try Dan, Dan Frank is a good name. If you like Dana pick Dana, not my decision

Mother to Dana Frank: "Dana Frank, get your knickers on and get your sorry @ss to school so the other kids can make fun of your girly name right before they grind your sorry @ss into the pavement"
Dana Frank: "Yes, Mother"

Dana is a girls name. Pick a name that's masculine like Dylan Frank. So much better!

I don't think Dana is good for a boy. It sounds like a sissy name. It's like that song by Johnny Cash "Boy named sue." And Frank is such a boring name. I'm sorry I don't like either names.

I would avoid using Dana as a boy's name, you're just asking for him to get teased growing up (though kids now will tease other kids about anything).
