I agree, i have large feet (size 10) and finding shoes that are a good fit is very hard, so i tend not to buy tons of shoes, i do have alot of shoes that i stupidly bought and then after wearing them for afew hours, realised they were excruciatingly painful to walk in, wearing high heels is just a no no for me, plus I'm 5'7" so i don't need the height of shoes, but i don't see the point in buying tons of them, i just look for comfy ones.

I'm not a shoe fanatic, but I do like shoes. I think it's because they can really pull an outfit together and it's fun to match them with your outfit. But for me, before anything, the shoes have to be comfortable. If I can find shoes that are cute and comfortable, I'm happy

I understand completely your feelings on it. For me, however, I think shoes really make the outfit. The right pair of shoes and everything else falls into place. I think they can make you look dramatic, serious, sexy, frumpy and more. Honestly, people don't realize the effect they actually have on your overall look. Imagine wearing an expensive evening gown and cheap old shoes. It doesn't work. Plus I can wear them over and over, more then I'd wear any one outfit.

I feel the same way! I am totally not a shoe person. I pretty much wear the same flip-flops in one of three colors, white black or brown. I spend most of my money on clothes! I think they are what matter most, not some size 8 minolo blanic.

it is a fetish. imagine having so much money you have no idea what to do with it. singer mariah carey has a fetish on shoes. she has extra big room for shoes. she said on one interview:" funny, i have so many but there is not a single pair i really can walk in, all of them are 20 minutes shoes." shoes can be object of beauty. i agrre with you that shoes are made for walking. that is the rule i have when i am buying new shoes. do not want another pair who looks stylish but i cannot walk in them for more then 20 minutes.

To some girls they seam nicer to buy than just cloths.. it makes you feel special if you have nice shoes because they are more substantial than like a shirt.
