I believe that fake fur is tacky and feels horrible, while real fur is so beautiful to touch and just looks better. Or I am very wrong for loving it?

No, it is not. As long as an animal isn't tortured (you know, real torture, not like these morons who think that if you are made uncomfortable for 1 second you are being tortured) there is nothing wrong with wearing fur. When Adam and Eve were kicked out of the garden, God gave them fur to wear. I wonder how many of these people who think it is terribly wrong to wear fur use leather and eat meat, and are abortion loving liberals?

I used to be against fur (real or fake), but I have a hoodie with a little bit of it on the hood lining and it's real warm. It doesn't look tacky because it was from a well-known, well-made brand. However, some brands do cheap out and their fake fur is a fashion don't.
Real fur IS beautiful and so so soft...but think about it....real fur comes from real animals. You're not wrong for loving it, but also keep in mind the animals that weren't given a choice so that YOU can look good next time you wear some fur.

No. I love real fur also. And it's also a matter of personal opinion on whether you choose to wear real or fake. Regardless of what other people may think.
So go ahead and sport that full length fox fur, honey! Do YOU!

Real Fur is better on the Animal it came off!

What is the difference? Well one has the hair scraped off and the other has not.
If you like Fur, you have every right two purchase it, if it is not a rare species!
If you don't like Fur, you have every right, not to buy or wear it.
Everyone should get a life and leave others alone.
PS I did have Thumpers right paw as a key ring many years ago. It gave me just as much Luck as it gave Thumper!
PPS I don't actually own any fur. It doesn't go with the colour of my eyes!

There's nothing wrong with loving real fur, but I can't see killing an animal solely for it's fur. If you have ever seen a film on hunters clubbing baby seals to death while their mother's watch, you would never wear fur again. And you know what? The reason they kill them is because people want their fur. Isn't that sad?

I've seen beautiful fur coats...that are faux and no little animals were killed so you can wear their fur. I agree with a previous answerer--fur is tacky, real or fake!

Personally, I think they both look tacky. How can fur feel nice, unless you're stroking an animal? 'Dead' fur gives me the creeps. If you're thinking of wearing real fur, please make sure you're fully aware of how the animals are treated and killed. There is so much cruelty in the trade, from foxes chewing their legs off in traps, to cats & dogs skinned alive in China to provide trimmings on jackets, scarves etc. It's a sordid trade - please don't support it.

No, I don't think you are wrong for loving it--it DOES feel good.
But it would be wrong to kill an animal for it, or to have fur products. Sometimes we have to do what is right, not what we want.
How about getting yourself a cat, and you can feel fur all you want--and the cat will like your attention, too!
