I can`t tell difference beetwen girls and boys name in japanese!

It can be very difficult, many japanese female names end with -ko but that cannot be a good guide at all times, since many names can be either male or female. Names from the current generation are getting away from the -ko ending,and are going more towards -ka or -na, but even then, there are several names for boys that end in the same.

its just a learning thing. You start to pick up the idea when you continually hear them every day. I lived there for 2 years, just like you would have to learn what is a boys name and what is a girls name in English, but we are just used to which is which.
Its pretty simple when you are used to the names though, although there are some that can work for both male and female, but you have to see the kanji to make sure.

I think most Japanese female names are ended with the -ko stam found at the end of their names written kanji. For males,names appear more msculine in appearance. But take caution...some Japanese names are unisex in nature.

Above responses are right. Also it is in the kanji. As mentioned already, many girls names end in "ko" or "mi." Typically, the kanji for child is used for girls names ending in "ko." Another example is the usage of "mi" or beauty. Names written in kanji have a very nice meaning, when you learn the meaning of each kanji used in the name.

Girls names are traditionally 3 syllables.
usually ending in ko mi or yo.
Boys names are generally four syllables.
There are exceptions of course,
Common girls names include Michiko, Mayumi, Yumiko, Masami, Michyo etc
Some boys names, Masayuki, Ichiro, Tomohiko, Shoichi
