Surely you knew that when labour called themselves "New Labour" they actually meant that new labour isn`t interested in the people of the UK. Why should they care about that british pensioners can`t make ends meet, why should they care that NHS is hasn`t got enough money to function, why should they care that childrens education is getting poor ( despite what they say). Why should they care that british troops are dying because they`re poorly equipped fighting in anther country
So far they`ve given £10 billion to Africa, given our £10billion rebate back to the EU.given £10`s of millions of pounds to Pakistan. SO £100 million to Iraq shouldn`t surprise anyone.
If you followed the budget they had a deficet of £10 billion and went and borred it from the International Monetary Fund, and that was before before they gave all this money away.
Don`t forget that it`s not the government that has to pay it back, it`s the taxpayers.Labour might not be popular at home anymore but the rest of world loves them

I don't know. The US pumped in $ millions/billions in to Iraq Government, and the US Govs own official auditors have said that much of the cash was corrupted away.

Now the US Gov has dispensed with the auditor as their honest accounting has proved embarrasing.

If we reallly have to give cash to any country, I'd rather our tax money was properly accounted for, instead of just handed over to some smiling bureaucrats.

I believe that we are stuck in a situation in which we have so give Iraq money. Yes the money should go to starving, and dying families all over the world, but no, it's all about looking good to the other powers on the world stage. It's sad how nobody cares about Africa.

Iraq is a work in progress and it will grow out of being a 3rd world country only with the right financial support. The USA has to do this in order to create a new ally in the Middle East. Democracy will soon be instituted all over the world!!!! Let Freedom Ring!!!!

i do not imagine I have examine even on 'solutions' such unmitigated c*ap as I basically examine from 'Bob M'. those who've lost their pensions or had them very much decreased are for this reason of Gordon Brown's pension tax coverage. The descendants of the human beings who 'milked' the colonies are sitting in Westminster and now they're 'milking' us. at the same time as 'Bob M' grows up hopefully he will study something.

They don't have to ask us, they were elected to act on our behalf. If you don't like it vote them out at the next opportunity. Start at grass roots level in local elections etc and get rid of these tossers. If you think things are bad now, wait till brown gets his **** in the chair, you'll know you've been taxed then and it will all go abroad, just wait and see

We also give our tax dollars (aid) which amount to millions a year to Mexico who is among the wealthiest countries of the world. Frankly I think we should stop giving to anyone. It seems the more we give the less it's appreciated and makes for more demands made of us. The ones we give to seems to become more dependent on us as well as get greedier and greedier.

Knowing this governments track record I wouldn't be surprised if it was to fund 'one way' plane tickets to the U.K for a load more immigrants (On condition they vote labour at the next election)!!!
