penis head andtissue?

have any of you guys out there noticed that during an erection sometimes the head of your penis and the tissue on the under side get thin while the rest of your penis stays nice and hard? do you have veins that are like purple in color that move around if you move the penis skin?

well being a medium skin brown male I can't see those veins.
