Mainly it depends on what colors you look best in,but the "normal" is basic black,darker green,red,or white,have seen some in silver or gold,but most use those as "accent" colors. Have you asked any of the others who are in the concert as well? There might be a certain color that is the overall color"scheme" for this concert too. There is your usual red and green, but these are bold colors to wear alone. I prefer to wear a simple black dress and accesorize with red or green ribbon around the waist, scarf, shawl, etc. This way you have some holiday cheer without screaming Look at me I'm a Christmas Tree!

I would say a cream color with red accents, or dark green... you don't want to be too flashy, especially if it's a formal event. If it's more of a just-for-fun kind of gathering you could go with silver...
