Hi, I'm travelling alone in December and plan to stay in South Goa... can I get any suggestions on what are the various activities that I can do, the best party places, accomodation???? Also looking for friends that I can hang out with???

Filpee's is an happening place in Benaulim, South Goa. Also there are a number of five stars in south Goa that have discos, casinos, etc. Do no miss the saturday nite bazaar in North Goa & river cruise.

I'm sorry to say the best places to party in South Goa is in North Goa. You can stay in a beach hut in South Goa, which range from fairly primitive to fairly luxurious.
