Armitron, Casio, or Timex?
Are there any others that are under 50$ and easy to find?

timex is great, I had one all though high school and it got wet, droped and hit (honest the wall just came and it my watch). the band wore out and the watch was still good, I still have that watch and it still works even though the crystal has scratches.

Go with the Casio or the Timex. I've had both for many many years. Had to go through some battery replacements and I keep them aside as "emergency" watches should my current one ever die, but they still work. Despite being put away, I still hear the BEEP signalling the latest hour. =)

Timex is the best. I have one and it's great. My mother has had the same watch for years and won't leave home without it. She loves that watch. Their watches are built to last.

Try Swiss Army they are very practical, look decent, last a long time and you can usually get them on sale-under $50.

I like casio, always trust hi-tech stuff, but a swatch will last a generation.

Think old skool....get a Swatch.
They're still whimsical, inexpensive and always a great conversation piece.

walmart has cheap watches like under 20 bucks. try there
